New Patients
Our goal is to make every visit to our Bellingham chiropractic office a pleasant and relaxing experience, but we make extra efforts to make sure your first visit is as comfortable and smooth as possible. Here’s what you can expect:

YOUR APPOINTMENT
Most first appointments take approximately 45 minutes, though you should plan to arrive about ten minutes early to fill out a few forms.

Dr. Simpson will spend time reviewing your health history and performing a thorough physical exam. You’ll be asked to turn and bend, your posture will be checked, your reflexes and muscle strength will be tested, and other orthopedic and neurological tests may be performed. These tests are designed to show any areas that are causing problems in your spine.

We do not perform x-rays in our office, but if Dr. Simpson determines that x-rays or other tests are needed, we will refer you to have them completed elsewhere.

After the exam, Dr. Simpson will perform specific chiropractic adjustments, which help return individual spinal bones to their proper position. She utilizes both manual adjustment and activator techniques, among others. Dr. Simpson may also recommend additional procedures such as ice, heat, massage therapy, exercises and stretches as part of your treatment plan.

Payments and co-pays are due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept credit & debit cards, cash, and personal check.
